According to the Ministerial Decree n° 151/2011, the fire risk related to dismantling of End-of Life-Vehicles (ELV) is classified as average or high. 

This booklet is just about fire – as well as explosion – risk in the existing plants for ELV dismantling. The first part of the booklet contains a brief description of the working cycle; the second part, instead, contains a method for assessing fire risk and the related preventive and protective measures. Moreover, an Annex summarizes the regulations about fire and explosion drawn from the Legislative Decree n° 81/2008 as amended.
