Retail trade

Employees in the retail sector are sometimes exposed to constant exposure to music, loudspeaker announcements and other noise sources. It is unlikely that this will cause noise-induced hearing loss due to the low sound pressure levels. Nevertheless, the state of the art must be observed at these workplaces, as described in the technical rule in the Guidelines on Occupational Noise and Vibration (TRLV).
