Sedib is a company with 56 employees located in the Paris region. Its move was used to improve, with the support of the CRAMIF, the health and safety performance in its workshops.

The relocation was an opportunity to buy newer and safer machines, to set up acoustic partitions and treatments and to reorganize the movement of people and materials through the establishment of an appropriate circulation plan. Other notable improvements were the development of jib cranes with vacuum gripping systems for plate handling, the installation of a sizeable centralized aspiration device with catchments at source on all machines.

The reduction of traffic and handling accidents, the removal of exposure to noise and dust are the significant effects of these improvements. But beyond this statement, the employees unanimously appreciate the better working conditions. This makes the environment more pleasant and undoubtedly increases the performance of this small business.
