This booklet, addressed to employees and employers, describes, in a detailed manner, all the risks potentially available in the metal processing and metal transformation sectors. The booklet covers both the most common risks (i.e.: accidents due to machines and equipment, manual handling of loads, fire, noise, vibrations) and the less frequent ones (i.e.: exposure to chemical and biological agents). For each risk taken into account, some preventive and protective measures are described. The last chapter of the booklet is dedicated to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
